Another great Sheffield Classicist: John Pye-Smith

Here's his Latin Grammar, published in 1816 and still very useable and here's some more information about him.

You can't help but feel that the good doctor-he apparently was of a very amiable disposition'-would have supported the appeal to #Save High Storrs Classics. Pray follow in his footsteps, if you can:
